I recently had the opportunity to visit London for the first time. I have an interest in history so was really excited to get to visit buildings that were over a thousand years old.
Looking at some of these ancient walls, I was truly amazed at the amount of manual labour that must have gone into the construction. There were no power tools or machinery, meaning every individual stone was placed to fit.
In a modern world that requires instant delivery it is hard to imagine a process that would have taken decades to complete.
When I consider this verse in light of that I have a greater understanding of what it means to build something. Not looking for the instant result but slowly adding to it daily over a long period of time.
